After a fire, keep photographs, EMERCOM documents, records from the property management company and insurer, and inspection materials. The earlier the scene is documented, the easier it is to assess the circumstances.
Avoid discarding potentially important items before inspection: electrical appliances, wiring fragments, protective circuit breakers and equipment components.
